First Look: Planner Love Binder by Franklin Planner & My Mind's Eye

16 September 2016

Planner Love is a planner line created by Franklin Planner, and paper company My Mind's Eye. The collaboration debuted last year with three all new collections--Coral, Gold, and My Story--which included an assortment of planners, and matching accessories. Lots of cute, tons of fun!

So, when Franklin Planner reached out to me and asked if I would like to do a review of some of the new additions to this years Planner Love line, I couldn't resist. You mean, I get to play with a new binder, new inserts, and pretty accessories? YES, PLEASE!

Anyway, I received the goods in the mail last week and, let me tell you, there was so much pretty to be had, I didn't know where to start. But, I had a couple of days to look (translate: "ooh", "ahh", and "squeal") over everything, and now, here it is--the first look! To prevent having to read a lengthy review, I've written a separate post for the inserts here. For this post, we'll be taking a quick look at the binder.

First Look: Planner Love 2017 Weekly Inserts by Franklin Planner & My Mind's Eye

This year, Franklin Planner, together with My Mind's Eye introduced two new collections to their Planner Love line--"Botanicals" and "On Trend". Each collection includes all sorts of fun accessories you can mix-and-match, and a set of 2017 Weekly Planner inserts. Thanks to Franklin Planner, I've been given the opportunity to review one of the sets, so I'm super excited to be sharing these with you, today.

The Mighty Quinn

06 March 2015

It's been about two months since I made the switch from a Compact size Franklin Covey (4.25" x 6.75" inserts) to a Classic size (5.5" x 8.5" inserts). If you remember, it was the Mia that started it all. Having lasted this long is definitely something worth celebrating because I honestly didn't think it was possible seeing as how back-and-forth I was between the two sizes at the beginning of the year. The Classic has definitely grown on me which is funny because I had originally decided to downsize to a Compact binder because I thought the A5 was too big! But, here I am, and I'm quite content. I don't know why or how, but it just feels right.

Planner-Plus-Wallet Dilemma Solved

27 February 2015

I've always fancied the idea of having both my planner and my wallet all together in one neat little place. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. In fact, there are many who make it work and I so envy them. I've tried many times before without success and yet I still keep coming back to the idea every time I'm in a new planner.

Anyway, after another failed planner-plus-wallet attempt in a Franklin Covey Compact Aurora, I recently discovered that I may never get this whole thing down. Maybe it's just not for me. I made my peace with it and it's all good because, for the new year, I've got myself a new wallet that kind of sorta gives me the best of both worlds. Let me share.
